Praying and being thankful for the gift of beauty in all the ways God gives blessings to us this morning.
So many people are waking up this morning to less than lovely in some area of their lives.
All of us.
Yet God has given us simple pleasures to rejoice in. One of mine this morning is preparing some peppers to bake.
As I prepared them to bake, I looked down at their vibrant colors and rejoiced in the goodness of God in the harvest.
Grateful for those who planted and picked them.
Grateful for the olive oil that I was given to bathe them in and on and on.
God is so very good to us.
As I consider this I am overwhelmed with gratitude. I hope each one of you today will look at a moment of peace, or love, or a task in your day and share the moment with others.
My preparation of peppers is a gift given to myself and my family. As you sit or move forward today, I pray you realize the good gift of God in you and your effective ministry to your family, the Body of Christ and this world.
Your life is a holy moment.
