To Those in Christ Jesus

Be A Light,He Went That Way
© 2010 Debbie Turner Chavers

Come into the light.
Are we inviting others into the mist or into the light Of God’s Word?
Is our daily interaction with others a mixture of dark and light?
A mist, a gray area?
Or are we inviting them into His light?

There is a boundary established in our relationship with God. This boundary of His Way and our own way. The clear presentation of His Word by His Spirit brings clarity and comfort to our hearts and minds.
He is light and there is no darkness in Him. We expect Him to be the Light and He is the Light.

As a light bearer others should not be left in darkness or confusion by our witness of Christ in us.
We leave others confused when we waver in our morals or walk out our faith with a lackadaisical attitude toward our own sin or the sin of others.
Light reveals hope in Christ and warms and warns the repentant.

Others may reject our attempt to be a light in the darkness. Some have sat so long in the dark that the intensity of the Light takes a few minutes for the souls eyes to adjust.

But adjust they will, as the light reveals the hidden things of our hearts. Speak truth. Speak life.
The truth received sets men free and the application of Gods’ truth allows us to walk in the Spirit instead of the flesh.

Be a light, even if only a night light, until the Daystar shines brighter and brighter unto your and their new day.

2 Corinthians 4:6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

2 Peter 1:19
We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:
