A Sure Foundation

© 2005 Debbie Turner Chavers,

God wants to be your Rock, your solid foundation.
When the storms of life blow, God wants you to stand upon His Word.
No sinking sand, take your stand.
Build your life upon a sure foundation with material which will survive.

*Take a moment and dwell upon this scripture:
Deuteronomy 32:4
He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgement: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.

Prepare yourself to trust God, to believe God.
Begin to build upon the foundation of His Word, Jesus Christ.
Your daily interaction with His Word, the investment of praise, time, and worship builds upon the sure foundation of Christ within you.

The gift of the Holy Spirit gives you a ready supply of material to repair and build when the wind of adversity blows.

You are a house, the temple of the LORD.
Build upon no other foundation than Jesus Christ and Him crucified and risen again.
The Earth, the times and the children of this world will soon pass.
Yet the sure WORD of the LORD shall endure forever.
Build wisely.

The Two Foundations of sand or rock.
Matthew 7:24-27
Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.

And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:

And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

1 Corinthians 3:9-17
For we are laborers together with God: ye are God’s husbandry, ye are Gods’ building.

According to the grace of God, which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.

For other foundation, can no man lay, than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

Now if any man build upon this foundation, gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;

Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.

If any man’s work, abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.

If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

Language Fluency

© 2004 Debbie Turner Chavers
Amos 3:3

Are we fluent in the language of life? or death?

What language do we speak day to day?

What is our native tongue?

Are we fluent?

There is a God given tongue for each one of us.

We are anointed to think and speak life and not agree with death.

The promise of John 10:10 shows us clearly what the author and finisher of our faith would have us be fluent in and it is the language of life.

John 10:10

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Heavenly language agrees with God and as a born again child of God your native tongue has become His Living Word.

If we allow ourselves to be tutored under a false hope we will have a cruel accent and live a life that dishonors the good that God has done within us.

God would have us set apart in all areas. We are in the world but citizens of Gods kingdom.

What language do you speak?

As with any tongue you can practice by studying and speaking until you become well versed.

Tongues are our prayer language but consider our daily speaking to a lost and dying world as a kingdom kid.

Amos 3:3 states that two cannot walk together unless they be agreed.

So seriously consider facts.

If you eat the news, the negative and your own opinion daily, the fruit that is produced will be death.

Eating the Word of God acts as fertilizer to mature the fruit of the Spirit that is developing within you. (Read Galatians 5)

As you focus on the pure and lovely our native tongue in the kingdom is developed in clarity and consistency. Living Word begins to break down walls that imprison peoples mind, heart, and soul.

In nature we prune and fertilize what we want to see mature and bring forth fruit.

Therefore cut off your constant exposure to the toxins of the world

In our daily life we apply the principle of John 10:10.

This principle does not bow in preference to age or nationality, the result is the same for all.

Life unto life.

Death unto death.

Daily we can practice the language of life.

This language is available to all.

What language will you learn.?

What language will you become proficient in through practice?

There is life and death in the power of your tongue.

Become fluent in speaking life.

Jesus Christ came to Earth to give you life and that more abundantly.

Agree with Him.

Speak life, think on those things which are pure, lovely and of good report.

His Word has gone out into all the world.

His Word will not return void.

Amen.
