A few mornings ago I read a scripture-based verse on merchandise.
The merchandise was attractive yet gave a wrong impression of God’s Word.
The following is an example of the merchandise that I read,
“If the stars were made to worship you, so will I.”
Indeed the stars were made, all creation was made to worship the LORD.
Yet it is not faith inspiring nor factual to premise it with the word “IF.”
With our good intention to draw hearts to acknowledge our sovereign LORD we must not give place to doubt in any form that implies “IF.”
What God’s Word says is not doubtful, it is only our lack of understanding that hinders our confession.
We, the Body of Christ, the Church, must not call forth or sound an uncertain note pertaining to the Word of God.
Our calling is sure and our stand in Jesus Christ is certain and secure, may our testimony and our words of confession testify to the truth found only in Christ.
Let us pray that we shine His Light in the darkness of unbelief with the sure word of His grace and truth. In Jesus name. Amen.

Psalm 148:1-14
Praise ye the LORD. Praise ye the LORD from the heavens:praise him in the heights.
Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts.
Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light.
Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens.
Let them praise the name of the LORD: for he commanded, and they were created.
He hath also stablished them for ever and ever: he hath made a decree which shall not pass.
Praise the LORD from the earth, ye dragons, and all deeps:
Fire, and hail; snow, and vapour; stormy wind fulfilling his word:
Mountains, and all hills; fruitful trees, and all cedars:
Beasts, and all cattle; creeping things, and flying fowl:
Kings of the earth, and all people; princes, and all judges of the earth:
Both young men, and maidens; old men, and children:
Let them praise the name of the LORD: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven.
He also exalteth the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints; even of the children of Israel, a people near unto him. Praise ye the LORD.
