Missteps Allowed

And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?

Matthew 14:31

Do not worry. Step out in faith. Faith in He who will catch you if you fail.

Little faith? Peter answered him and said “Lord, If it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. Matthew 14:28-29

So what possibility seems impossible to you? All things are possible with God.

Try, go for it.

In the realm of the Spirit, there is rejoicing when we put our trust in God and not ourselves.

It honors God to see my effort and your effort. The trust that shows that you and I will do what we can do by stepping out of our comfort zone aka “the boat.”

Circumstances don’t always go smoothly, yet with our eyes on Him and our dependence upon He who is faithful. We too, if needed, can say, “Lord, save me.” And He will.
