Hebrews 12:2
“In Remembrance of Me” Jesus said. This taking of the Cup and Bread. Our memory holds him, our tongue tastes. He gathered them to give the memory of this gift. The gift of God’s love for us.
God has prepared everything and everyone. Each step Christ took tells a story of how and why it is as it is.
Even before the gathering for Passover, “The Last Supper,” Christ sent them to prepare the gathering of sons and daughters. Judas Iscariot was there also.
At church gatherings, the coming together, there is usually a Judas present there as well.
Jesus knew that, knows this.
The betrayer would attempt to have all eyes on himself. He still holds the bag. His love of money, fame and recognition is still present.
Do not fail to gather together. Every Judas soon removes himself.
