Do Not Sit There

We have been redeemed by the blood of the Lamb. Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. (Revelation 19:9)
Remember what Jesus has done for us and be a prepared people awaiting His return with joy and gladness.
The "flesh"served from the Table of Malice is not a "saved seat" for you.

We must have the mind of Christ and put on the new man and give no place to the Devil.
Arise, do not sit in the seat of the unlearned.
Do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is.
Gather the grace given by Christ and sup at the LORD's table.

There is a dead mindset, a grave of error at the Table of Malice. The chairs of this mindset are rooted in Hell.
I left these chairs empty on purpose, for as a child of God you are to be seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus and not among the dead.  (Ephesians 1:3, Ephesians 1:20, and Ephesians 2:6)

There is much spiritual analogy within this painting.
Allow the Lord to reveal His word to you in your own walk of faith and come out from among them.
Arise, and be about your Father's business.
The Water-Man represents you and I.
Sit no longer at this table.
In prayerful hope I have painted the Water-Man looking out. That stone he is sitting on can be used to arise from that pit he is seated in.

Submission Disqualifies Division

© 2015 Debbie Turner Chavers

A religious spirit and a spirit of rebellion are in the children of disobedience.
Their behavior will mimic what they worship: man’s tradition and self.

Child of God, Servant of God:

You can not serve God and mammon.

You can not be a people pleaser.

The dilemma:

As we navigate daily interactions with others we quickly conclude that all is not well relationally if we dare to voice truth.

God’s word in a lost and dying world is a life preserver

Yet most will decide to drown in a sea of despair with the life buoy right beside them offering safety and relief.

Redeemed child of God:

Speak truth, throw the life line.

Misplaced desire:

Our desire for human love and acceptance easily silences our witness of God’s redemptive plan in our world, our family and our sphere of influence.

A desire to fit in is a spirit of bondage that makes you ineffective, unable to do that which your redeemed man desires to do.

This desire to fit in becomes a cord which entangles you and will prompt you to do that which you hate: hiding.

Your action cloaks or attempts to hide His light within you.

Our heart is well aware of its double minded state and the fact that its carnal nature is at war with the Spirit of God within us.

Therefore:

Our spirit must stay attuned to pleasing the Spirit of God within us.

This tuning will turn us to doing God’s will not your own.

The war within us seeks to separate us from our true call of obedience to Christ Jesus.

If we choose not to tune and turn:

Our witness when we refuse to stand for TRUTH will present

a warped mirror of Christ to others.

We are to mirror Christ not the individual.

Let them see Christ in you, not an idolatrous view of themself.

Be aware:

When you feed your flesh your spirit wanes.

Fire within you is fed by the oxygen of the Holy Spirit.

The breath of God.

Give place.

Give first place to God.

You have been redeemed.

You have been bought with a blood fulfilled covenant.

Our allegiance and first call is to serve the LORD.

Pray to Be Refreshed

Photo copyright © 2026 Debbie Turner Chavers

Where are you on your journey
of faith today?
Refocus and reach out to God
if the path has become bleary
or weary in the doing.

God is faithful.
Allow the soil of your heart
and mind to be aerated
by the Holy Spirit.

🙏🏼 Let’s pray.

Father God, I am weary in the doing of life.
In the daily grind of more doing. Constant doing.
Father, even soil is to be given rest.

Thank you, Father that you have provided all that I need.
Send a refreshing of your Spirit in and upon me. Give me wisdom to know where to apply effort and where to rest.

Your wisdom is the fulcrum which moves me forward, therefore LORD, help me to not be weary in well doing for in due time I shall reap if I faint not.
In Jesus name, Amen.

🙏🏼🕊🌻

Born Again

Luke 1:35

And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

When we receive salvation, Christ is planted in the womb of our heart and we become sons and daughters of God.

The Holy Ghost comes upon us and the power of the Highest overshadows us.

We are born again.

New Art Parable Painting “ The Women”

The Women”
Art Parable of The Woman With The Issue of Blood
© 2024 Debbie Turner Chavers

The Women, I painted this watercolor on March 13, 2024.

I have looked at it everyday since then without sharing it publicly except with my immediate family.

I have progressed no further than what you see before you. Each time I started to add a paint stroke there was a distinct prompt of “It is finished.”

Indeed, thank you Father God, it is finished. There are words and paintings that are seeds that linger in the soil of our hearts until the Lord births them in His Truth within us.

There are five women in the painting.

The number Five in Hebrew is Grace and the Letter is  ‘H’eh

Yes, I speak “Grace, Grace” to you.

I have always been intrigued by the woman with the issue of blood.

She could find no healing.

No help anywhere else except by reaching out to the Lord and touching Him.

This is the journey of the Woman, of women, of men.

She is as all creation who needed the blood of Christ to cleanse and redeem their blood, the “issue of their blood.”

The Woman:

She was an outcast for at least 12 years.

She had spent all her living on physicians.

How often do we spend “all our living” on seeking healing from others?

“Our living” as not only our money, but our trust, our job validation, our relationship with one another?

Only Jesus Christ heals us of every “issue.”

It begins with blood.

Our blood.

It ends with the Messiah’s blood.

Redemption.

There were 12 tribes and they all had an “issue of blood “ and only the Great Physician could heal them and the Woman.

They, the priests, the scribes, the Pharisees were the “physicians “ of the day.

They had no healing, no legitimate way to give redemption.

Only the Redeemer, The Messiah Jesus Christ who was in their midst could heal all issues. Theirs, hers, and ours.

Matthew 9:20-22

And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood 12 years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment:

but she said within herself, if I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole.

But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be a good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.

Mark 5:25-34

And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood 12 years,

And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse,

When she heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. For she said, if I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.

And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.

And Jesus, immediately, knowing in himself, that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes?

And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?

And he looked round about to see her that had done this thing.

But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth.

And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.

You can read more scripture on the woman with the issue of blood at Luke 8:43-48 in the Bible.
