Sitting in the dark, one notices deep shadows of what is present.
Small details are blurred.
Our memories try to fill in the gaps of what we remember, yet what may not actually exist any longer.
The dark of ones night does that.
On the horizon is the glimmer of light back lighting the shadows.
The rising light begins to fill in the picture before you.
The blur of imagination and the reality of life become clearer as the light rises within you.
The light of the day star arising in your heart does that.
He filters the darkness through and into His glorious light
Washing the discrepancies of our failures and faulty thoughts in His shed blood.
We are washed, we are made new.
The water of His Word bathing the filth of the old man into the sea of forgetfulness.
God would reason with us
If we would listen.
He will draw you close and remove the shadows of that which would obscure His clear leading by His rod and staff.
Sit before Him
He has not gone any where.
He still sits on His throne, extending His scepter of goodness to you.
Come.
He is waiting.
The night is far spent.
Give Him your tomorrow where His mercy is new for you.

Romans 13:12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.
